Production Planner
For a medical device company in Almere area we are looking for a production planner.  Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for production planning? We are looking for a motivated Production Planner to join our team and ensure smooth manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing production schedules, maintaining inventory accuracy, and collaborating with multiple departments to meet customer demands efficiently. Responsibilities
  • Generate and issue production works orders based on schedules and stock requirements.
  • Create material picking lists and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure availability.
  • Maintain and update SKU master data, including product specifications and inventory details.
  • Develop replenishment strategies to optimize stock levels.
  • Organize and oversee regular stocktakes, ensuring accuracy and investigating discrepancies.
  • Provide training on production planning processes and system usage.
  • Create and maintain clear work instructions for production planning activities.
  • Generate reports on stock levels, production efficiency, and On Time In Full (OTIF) performance.
  • Communicate purchasing requirements to buyers based on production needs.
  • Develop and adjust production schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Requirements
  • Experience in production planning, inventory management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and high-pressure environments.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning.
