Job Purpose: As a Scientist QC Raw Materials, you will be responsible for executing incoming goods control testing of raw materials (consumables, excipients, primary packaging). You will support drug product manufacturing by managing specifications, testing, and release while ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and assess results from external laboratories, report findings into the electronic system, and evaluate against specifications and historical data.
Perform testing requirement assessments for raw materials in alignment with compendial and internal standards.
Support laboratory investigations in collaboration with external testing laboratories.
Author and revise Specification Sheets and associated change management documentation.
Compile data for reports and presentations, interpret results, and draw conclusions.
Draft and approve reports and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Key Requirements:
Technician with 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience (preferably in raw materials) OR Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field with 2–3 years of industry experience.
Strong understanding of GMP concepts with prior experience working in a GMP-regulated environment.
Hands-on experience with analytical testing methods and instruments for raw materials (Consumables, Excipients, Primary Packaging).
Problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot testing challenges.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Proactive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
Advantageous: Experience with Raman, NIR/FTIR Spectroscopy.

Duration: 9-month contract (with a high possibility of extension)
