For a leading biotech company in Amsterdam, we are recruiting a QC Officer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on product quality and compliance while working in a challenging and fulfilling environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performing investigations on non-conformances, deviations, and out-of-specification (OOS) results using root cause analysis tools.
Demonstrating a strong understanding and application of GMP fundamentals, including good documentation practices and data integrity.
Conducting routine audits to ensure compliance with GMP and quality standards.
Supporting and guiding laboratory personnel in quality control practices and regulatory requirements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate product release and resolve quality issues.
Assisting in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Managing measuring equipment, including qualification and maintenance.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a QC environment within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Hands-on experience with deviation management, investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA processes.
Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
Proficiency in documentation practices with high attention to detail.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); Dutch is advantageous.

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-month project with the possibility to extend.
Contract type: Data vast construction (temp to perm)
