Quality Manager
For a big food company that makes electrical consumer goods for he B2B market, we are looking for a QA Manager. This person can be stationed in Nuenen or Wageningen. Are you passionate about setting the highest standards for quality and ensuring customer satisfaction? As a Systems Quality Management Expert, you will play a vital role in shaping and maintaining quality standards across our operations, driving supplier collaboration, and influencing key decision-making processes. Your expertise will directly impact the reliability and safety of our products while fostering continuous improvement and innovation.


Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Quality Management: Establish and maintain integral quality standards for both consumables and appliances.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Partner with suppliers on new project developments, lifecycle management, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Risk and Change Management: Oversee risk assessments and contribute to change and development initiatives that enhance quality and compliance.
  • Complaint Management: Handle customer complaints and manage recalls effectively, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Decision Support: Serve as the gatekeeper for market quality and influence project decisions with a data-driven approach.

Requirements
  • Mechanical engineering experience required, ideally with tabletop machines
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and 13845 standards.
  • Regulatory Affairs (RA) experience is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably mechanical engineering .
  • 5+ years of experience in quality roles within the durables sector.
  • Expertise in supplier quality engineering and quality management systems.
  • Proven ability to set and uphold quality standards.
  • Strong skills in complaint management and conducting recalls.
  • Certifications or additional qualifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving.

Practicalities
  • Can be based in Nuenen OR Wageningen
  • Salary up to 100k a year
  • Hybrid working model
  • 9 month contract with a big change of extension
