We are seeking a dedicated and skilled QA Lead to join the Global Quality Engineering team for our leading CDMO in Switzerland. RESPONSIBILITIES
Stakeholder Management:
- Represent QA perspectives confidently in front of SMEs and senior stakeholders.
- Effectively explain technical and quality-related recommendations to diverse audiences.
Technical Expertise:
- Lead qualification and validation execution for lab and infrastructure equipment.
- Techniques and equipment include isolators, autoclaves, HPLC, Karl Fischer, weighing cabinets, biosafety equipment, freezers, incubators, pipettes, CPG, Solo VP, biotech equipment, container closure integrity systems, and spectrometry.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Review, approve, and improve documentation.
- Propose and implement workflow innovations.
- Lead discussions around SOP improvements to streamline processes and ensure compliance.
Audit and Quality Assurance:
- Prepare and present documentation during internal and external audits.
- Provide confident representation of QA-approved documentation before auditors.
- Support Swiss Medic inspections (target: early 2026).
Team Challenges:
- Address resistance within teams and gain buy-in for QA decisions.
- Exhibit resilience and strong communication skills.
PROFILE
- Proven QA leadership experience within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
- Strong technical understanding of lab equipment qualification and validation.
- Background in QC is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent soft skills: adaptability, emotional intelligence, and professionalism.
- Ability to navigate cross-functional teams and provide calm, solution-oriented responses.

PRACTICALITIES

- Onsite/Remote Balance: Hybrid
- Set-up: fulltime, 12 month contract (high chance of extension or convert to permanent position)
