We are looking for an I&TD PMO Manager to join our Innovation and Technology Development (I&TD) team in Barcelona. Purpose of the Role: With a new Project Management Office (PMO) methodology being implemented across the organization, the I&TD team needs to ensure a seamless integration of this approach. Project and program management have been identified as key tools for optimizing resources and prioritizing value creation opportunities. The I&TD PMO Manager will play a critical role in supporting the success of our innovation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Resource Allocation:
Evaluate team members' skills and match them to project needs, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
Track time allocation and assess the performance of our innovation mechanisms.
PMO Value Measurement:
Design and implement methods to measure the size and risk of innovation opportunities.
Continuously evaluate the value generated by the innovation program.
Collaborate with the Global PMO Manager to harmonize methodologies.
Take ownership of reporting systems and processes.
Team Management & Lab Operations:
Work closely with the I&TD Labs and People Manager to ensure efficient lab operations.
Contribute to the management of lab performance, data, and SHE compliance.
Ownership of reporting systems and PMO value measurement.
Allocation of internal resources and time management.
Collaboration with the I&TD Labs and People Manager for smooth lab operations.
Alignment with Global PMO for methodological consistency.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (ideally scientific or engineering), complemented by PMO training.
A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in project management, ideally in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated environment.
Knowledge of GMP and compliance is a plus.
