In collaboration with a pharmaceutical company in Almere, we are seeking an experienced
Production Supervisor – Packaging to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with GMP standards, and support a high-performing team. This role is essential in maintaining production efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight: Ensure daily and weekly production planning targets are met while maintaining smooth workflow on the production floor.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support operators, conduct regular one-on-one meetings, and foster a strong team spirit.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure correct execution of tasks, adherence to GMP regulations, and promote compliance awareness.
- Batch Documentation: Maintain batch record accuracy, oversee documentation flow, and prepare or review records as needed.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and report non-conformities, take immediate corrective actions, and communicate with the Production Manager.
- Training & Performance: Conduct operator training, performance reviews, and onboarding for new hires.
- Workplace Management: Address operational challenges, maintain a safe and efficient work environment, and act as a role model for operators.
- Process Improvements: Monitor operator reintegration after illness, and proactively improve processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in an organized manner.
- Deep knowledge of GMP regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proactive problem-solving and independent decision-making capabilities.
- Team-oriented leadership style, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Adaptability, capable of handling dynamic production demands.
- Empathy and strong interpersonal skills, ensuring a positive team culture.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated production environment.
- Proficiency in English and Dutch (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Experience in training and coaching operators.
- Strong documentation and compliance knowledge in a GMP setting.
Practicalities:
- Contract Duration: 1-year contract with the company, followed by a permanent opportunity based on performance.
- Working Hours: Day shifts, Monday to Friday.
