Chapter Lead - Business Application Specialist

As Business Application Specialist (Chapter Lead) you are responsible for a multinational team but still are a member of the squad and do day-to-day work. 

You must evaluate, coach, and develop people reporting to you. You ensure that people in your responsibility develop and maintain deep knowledge in the required specific technical domains. 

You will learn how the (global) setup looks like for the company and which processes/modules are used within D365F&O. You will make use of the knowledge you have to assist with different local implementations. You will play an important role in helping the key-users/end-users with process improvement, implementing new features and assisting them with questions and issues they might have. 

In this role you are also focused on further improving the use of D365F&O within the organization. You will mange the Business Application Team as well as the different operating companies within the orgnisation. You work directly with the business, but also with third parties if needed. You also communicate and educate key-users and end-users about the proper use of D365F&O. 

Do you have the following requirements? 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. 
• 7 or more years of business and/or Business Application implementation experience. 
• Experience with D365 Finance and Operations and database administration. Experience with other similar fiannce tools are good too.
• Experience with managing a team (3- 4 years)
• Certification in  D365 Finance, D365 Operations. 
• Knows how to drive solution design and understand application architecture and is able to work closely together with Architecture. 
• Be open for travelling (around 4-5 times per year)

Key accountabilities: 

• Serves as a Business Process and Solution Lead for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. 
• Act as a lead for the technical area and continuously develop the expertise within the chapter with the individual members 
• Act as an enabler for the new ways of working. 
• Coach and manage the members of the team to maximize squad performance. 
• Identify resource needs and gaps for the chapter.
