Purpose of the Role:
As a 10x Genomics Technician, you will oversee the operation and optimization of 10x Genomics workflows, contributing to both client projects and research and development (R&D) initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, maintain open communication with clients, and participate in R&D projects to advance our single-cell capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
10x Genomics Workflow Management: Oversee the management and execution of 10x Genomics workflows, including transcriptomics, immune profiling, CITE-seq, and nuclei isolations.
Project Coordination: Ensure timely completion of client projects and maintain consistent, transparent communication with clients.
Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance current workflows and develop innovative approaches to meet evolving project demands.
R&D Contribution: Engage in R&D projects aimed at advancing single-cell genomic workflows, keeping our technology at the forefront of the field.
Team Support: Work closely with colleagues across various projects, fostering a supportive, collaborative team environment.
About You:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent, with at least two years of experience in an industrial laboratory setting.
Demonstrated proficiency in 10x Genomics workflows or comparable single-cell sequencing technologies.
Experience in handling cells and tissues.
Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to good laboratory practices.
Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Deep interest and motivation to stay current with advancements in single-cell sequencing technology.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
